Q: My Miracle fruit dropped leaves in January. Soil in pot stays moist.
What did I do wrong?
A: Miracle fruit does not tolerate overwatering during cold period. It
is very important to keep it on dry side. Do not water until soil is
dry to touch.

Another cold hardy fruit for subtropical backyard
2979 "Sunbest" Nectarine
The "Sunbest" nectarine is considered to be
one of the best for the Northern/Central Florida and similar climates.
It needs 225 hours of chill time. The red skinned fruit is larger then
other nectarines. Fruit are uniformly firm and yellow with melting
flesh which are semi-freestone. Fruit ripen in May. This is a
self-fruitful variety.
